Laboratory Design And Build – BioChek

BioChek, a company involved in veterinary diagnostics, commissioned Kastner Lab for a laboratory design and build contract to convert an industrial unit in Cambridgeshire to meet their specific requirements. The project involved several key components:

1. A full mezzanine installation to provide additional space and allow for more efficient utilization of the available area.

2. A suite of laboratories was built on both the ground and first floors ready for installation of BioChek’s specialized equipment, safety features, and meet the unique demands of veterinary diagnostics.

3. Alongside the laboratory construction, Kastner refurbished the existing office space and kitchen/breakout facilities. This refurbishment aimed to create a spacious and functional environment for BioChek’s employees to work and relax in.
