New Kastner workstations prove the ideal solution for Bristol Robotics Laboratory

Posted on the March 15th, 2018

The Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL), established in 2004, is the leading and largest academic centre for multi-disciplinary robotics research in the UK. When the facility needed some new workbenches, they turned to Kastner Laboratory Design to meet their requirements. Eighteen bespoke workbenches were supplied to replace the old benching and the laboratory now has a smart, fresh look.

the benches have been installed in the BRL “Soft Robotics” laboratory, where research is carried out to create specialized “soft” or tactile robots that are able to interact with living things – plants, animals and human beings.

Dr Tim Helps, Research Associate at University of Bristol said “Geoff from Kastner was a pleasure¬†to deal with and was completely¬†attentive to any issues we raised.”
